The Line ups for Vancouver

Here is the basic outline of the evening for Vancouvers Bike Shorts. There will be a few adjustments but here is an overall view of the evening. Two shows with different(mostly) line ups.

7pm – First half

Trail Love – New Hampshire ride chronicles.

De Rijwielrover (The Bicycle thief)- “Bicycle locks are often hard to open for notorious bicycle thieves. - Netherlands

Short Cut - The story of a journey home from work, past castles, mountains and more… - Wales

Bicycle Portraits – Everyday South Africans and their bicycles – South Africa

One - Time warp in timelessness while having a bicycle day. - Turkey

Bicycles and Pickles – Can a girl find true love on her birthday? - USA

Bike Ride - You can’t forget how to ride a bike, nor the feeling that comes with it. - USA

Want some soap - A typical day off: pinback in my headphones, lunch with my wife, a little coffee, and my bicycle. - USA

Bring the Kid Outta Ya - Living in one of the flattest places in Canada, a group of bike nuts use their childhood as inspiration for a new form of technical riding. - Canada

7pm – Second half

The Bicycle Lesson -A five year old boy’s first bicycle lesson, given to him by his older brother and sister, goes terribly wrong. - Canada

Seed of the Bicycle - One woman and a magic bicycle seed spread the love.

Ice Cross - BMX bikes, ice, 100’s of wood screws, a jump, 7 guys and 3 carnage-filled laps – Canada

Pretty Sweet - Point your bicycle at the mountains, and see what you find…. - England

Velo Lumina – An abstracted bicycle ride with hints of a larger story.

Bach Bicycle - “Bicycle Acrobat Boys to Bachs ageless music” – Belgium

Cycle of Love - A tricycle who falls in love only to have his rusty heart broken. At first, he despairs, but lives to love again.” - USA

The Cycologists – Cycling musical group stretching boundaries of music and cycling (not to mention Lycra!) - Australia

Dreams of Cycling Glory
-Young men dream of heroic deeds and beautiful women. What do old men dream about? ……. Why bicycling of course!
Marry Me - A little girl who loves a little boy who loves his BMX bike. - Australia

VueloVelo - This ode to the beauty of the Bicycle was shot on the city streets of Sydney and the Olympic Velodrome. - Australia

The Self Healing of my Bike - “About being on the road, communication, (anti)matter and a super 8 camera in my bike-basket.” - Germany

Pirates of the Broadway - Bicycle Pirates take Manhattan, warring with messengers, capturing salmon (aka cyclists riding the wrong way) and stealing baked goods. - USA

9:15 Second Half

A Vicious Cycle – the London experience - England

Bicycle Song – One mans rides a bike, another writes a song about it. - USA/Canada
Obey - Many riders seem to have their own idea, riding style, how they think. That’s important….- Japan
Cyclorado - Cycling culture in Colorado is as diverse as the people. - USA

Peloton – Honoring the riders, fans and volunteers of the Tour Down Under - Australia

Hold On - Come for a little rip on Vancouver’s North Shore. The trail is Neds and the mountain is Seymour.

We are now on the hunt for another venue and are open to suggestions.
