AMS Bike Co-op Film Night

Join the AMS Bike Co-op for a night of bicycle film fun! On Monday, November 8th at 7:30 pm at the Norm Theatre, we are screening a few shorts and then our feature, “Field Guide to November Days,” an almost wordless study of cycling culture, miscommunication, and sexual identity. Check out the trailer.

Not only was it filmed entirely by bicycle, but the directors also toured the film by bike from Vancouver to LA. Tickets are $5 at the door, or $2.50 with a valid AMS Bike Co-op or Film Soc Member Card. Check out our website at www.bikecoop.ca for more details, or RSVP to our facebook page.

A HUGE SUCCESS in Vancouver

Both shows sold out again!

Vancouverites love to ride! (in reality everyone loves to ride…they don’t know it yet)

We would like to express our apologies for those we had to turn away at the door. We have to obey the fire code and just couldn’t safely fit anymore people into the theatre.

We learned ways of improving Bike Shorts Film Festival and next year it will be even better.

Tailwinds of Gratitude to:
- all the film makers that submitted because without you there would be no Bike Shorts Film Festival
-  Atomic Bike Shop _ Bikes on the Drive _ Bike Doctor _ Jett Grrrl Bike Studio _ Cambie Cycles _ On the Rivet.
- The Vancouver International Film Centre
- The City of Vancouver for allowing us the VACC park the 100 plus bikes in the parking spaces designed for 4 automobiles. A sight to behold!

A downhill of praise for our volunteers:
Farah Nazarali
Alistair Barrett
Gavin Davidson
Cindy Heinrichs
Keith Freeman
David Olsen
Lori Kessler

A warm sunshine of thanks to:
- David Haye and Richards Buell Sutton for sponsoring and Bike Shorts Film Festival and supporting injured cycle commuters.
- The B:C:Clettes for getting the audience warmed up for the 9pm show.
- On The Rivet for the great schwag.

Safe roads to ride for:
- our great audiences
- our neighbors, family and all the people that share our cities
- everyone who rides a bicycle

This annual event is a fundraiser for the Vancouver Area Cycling Coalition. If you are not already a member please consider joining and having your vote counted towards further improvements in the Cycling infrastructure of the GVRD.
